FAQs
Will my clothes wrinkle?Compression flattens; it doesn’t iron. Fold with a little care and most things come out about the way they went in.
Does it fit my suitcase?Yes. The bags come in the three common suitcase sizes: 20″ for the carry-on, 24″ and 28″ for checked bags and the closet. Each one lies flat in its case, and the 20″ fits in anything.
Can I open a bag mid-trip?Yes. Unzip, take what you need, zip it back and press again.
Can the pump fly with me?Keep it in your carry-on and check your airline’s rules for rechargeable devices. [Battery capacity: TBC]
Half your suitcase is air. Press it out.
The suitcase that won't close.
You know the moment. Everything is in, the zipper stops halfway, and you are sitting on the lid doing math about the fee at the gate. Same story at home: the shelf that won't take one more sweater, the drawer that only closes if you lean on it.
FlatPress ends both. Fill a bag, zip it, set the pump on the valve and press. The air comes out, the bag lies flat, and the case closes with room for what you actually want to bring back. Back home, the same bags go flat on the shelf and stay there until the next trip.
If you pack one outfit and a toothbrush, you don't need this. If you pack for the trip you want and then fight the zipper, keep reading.
Meet the AirDraw™ system.
Compression bags have worked the same way for years: roll them by hand and hope, or drag out the vacuum cleaner and stay home to do it.
AirDraw is our answer. A cordless, rechargeable pump and one-way valve bags, built to work together on the road and at home. Set the pump on the valve, press, and it pulls the air out. That is the whole system. Nothing to plug in, nothing to hold shut, nothing to explain to the hotel front desk.
How it works
-
STEP 1
Fill
Fold or roll your clothes and slide them in. Bulky things first: sweaters, jackets, towels. Fold with a little care; the flatter it goes in, the flatter it comes out.
Leave a little room at the top so the zipper closes clean.
-
STEP 2
Zip
Run the zipper end to end and check the corners.
That seal is what holds the flat once the air is out. Corner to corner, then move on.
-
STEP 3
Press
Set the AirDraw pump on the valve and press. Watch the bag go flat.
No hose, no outlet, no vacuum cleaner. Hotel bed, dorm floor, airport gate.
-
STEP 4
Stack
Lay the flat bags in your case, or on the shelf, one on top of the other.
To open, unzip. To use again, repack and press. As many times as you like.
One set. Two jobs.
The trip is the reason you buy it. The closet is the reason it never sits in a drawer. Same bags, same pump, two jobs, all year.
The carry-on that closes on the first try.
Two outfits, a jacket, gym stuff, the just-in-case sweater. Flat, it fits with room to spare, and you skip the bag drop line and the fee that comes with it.
Pack by day or by outfit, one bag each. On the way home, the worn clothes get their own bag and go flat too, so the souvenirs have somewhere to go.
The closet that finally has room.
Winter sweaters in July. Off-season everything. The spare towels, the guest pillowcases, the coat you wear eight weeks a year.
Same bags, same pump. Fold, press, and the pile becomes a flat stack on the shelf or under the bed, until you want it back.
Small room. Same stuff.
A dorm closet, a studio, a shared apartment. Move-in day is one suitcase, and so is May. Between them, there is one shelf and a lot of sweaters.
Flat bags make room on the shelf you have, and go back in the suitcase when it's time to go.
Three ways to go flat.
There are three ways to get the air out of a compression bag. Roll-up bags squeeze it by hand. Vacuum storage bags need a vacuum cleaner. FlatPress brings its own pump: AirDraw.
|   | Stovla | Roll-up bags | Vacuum storage bags |

| Works anywhere: hotel, dorm, airport floor | |||
| No rolling or kneeling on your clothes | |||

Made to make room
Stovla exists to make room. Room in the carry-on, room on the shelf, room in the trip for what you actually want to bring back.
FlatPress is where it starts: bags that go flat, a pump that goes anywhere, and nothing you don't need. No app, no subscription, no batteries to buy. One set, two jobs, and a pump that does the work.
Take it on a real trip. Or a real closet.
Fill it, press it, fly with it, or shelve it. You have [30] days. If it doesn't earn its place in your suitcase or your closet, send it back and we refund you.
You can't tell from a photo whether it earns its place. You can from a trip.
