Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform to sell our products and services.

STOVLA.COM sells and ships products worldwide. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that you are subject to the laws of your own jurisdiction in addition to these Terms. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your purchase and use of our products complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

Capacities, dimensions, compression ratios, pump run times, and charging times shown on product pages are approximate and measured under test conditions. Actual results vary depending on the type of fabric, how the bag is packed, ambient temperature, and battery condition.

Product prices, availability, and services are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products or services at any time.

5. Products and Orders

Certain products may be available exclusively online and in limited quantities. All purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped or are in transit. Customers must wait until delivery to request a return, in accordance with our Return Policy.

Product images and colors are displayed as accurately as possible, but may vary depending on device settings.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete purchase and account information. We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders that appear fraudulent or violate these Terms.

12. Product Safety, Battery Safety & Assumption of Risk

12.1 General Product Disclaimer

ALL PRODUCTS SOLD BY STOVLA.COM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." STOVLA.COM makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any product for a particular purpose, merchantability, or safety beyond the product description provided on the website. By purchasing any product from STOVLA.COM, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the proper and safe use of said product.

12.2 Suffocation Hazard & Keeping Products Away from Children

OUR PRODUCTS ARE NOT TOYS AND ARE INTENDED FOR USE BY ADULTS. Compression bags, storage bags, packaging, valves, caps, and other components are made of flexible plastic film and small parts that pose a serious suffocation, choking, and strangulation hazard to babies, infants, and young children.

By purchasing any product from STOVLA.COM, the purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees to the following:

(a) Keep away from children. Bags, film, packaging, and small components must be stored out of the reach of babies and children at all times. Children must never be allowed to play with, climb into, place over their head, or otherwise handle compression bags or packaging material.

(b) Supervision required. Where a minor is present, a responsible adult must directly and continuously supervise any use or handling of our products. The purchaser assumes full and sole responsibility for ensuring adequate supervision.

(c) Not a certified children's product. Our products are not designed, tested, or certified as children's toys or childcare articles. Even where a product may appear appealing to a child due to its color, shape, or design, it is not certified for use by children.

(d) Misuse & unintended use. STOVLA.COM shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, illness, or death resulting from the misuse, improper use, unintended use, modification, alteration, or negligent use of any product, including but not limited to use by children without appropriate adult supervision.

(e) Compliance with local safety standards. Product safety standards vary by country and jurisdiction (including but not limited to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, UK product safety regulations, and equivalent regulations elsewhere). The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether any product complies with the regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

12.3 Rechargeable Pump & Lithium Battery Safety

Certain products include an electric air pump powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries can overheat, vent, catch fire, or rupture if damaged, short-circuited, or improperly charged. By purchasing such a product, you agree to the following:

  • Charge the pump only with a cable and power source that meet the specification stated on the product page, and never leave it charging unattended or while sleeping.
  • Do not charge, store, or operate the pump near flammable materials, in direct sunlight, in a closed vehicle, or outside the temperature range indicated in the product instructions.
  • Do not open, puncture, crush, disassemble, modify, immerse in water, or expose the pump or its battery to fire or excessive heat.
  • Discontinue use immediately and dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations if it becomes damaged, swollen, deformed, unusually hot, or emits smoke or an unusual odor.
  • Do not operate the pump continuously beyond the run time indicated in the product instructions, and do not use it for any purpose other than inflating or deflating compatible bags.
  • Batteries and electrical waste must be disposed of separately from household waste, in accordance with the regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.

STOVLA.COM shall not be liable for any injury, fire, property damage, or other harm arising from failure to follow these instructions, from use with incompatible chargers or accessories, or from continued use of a damaged unit.

12.4 Air Travel, Carriers & Baggage

Our products are sold as travel and storage accessories. STOVLA.COM does not guarantee that any product, including devices containing lithium-ion batteries, will be accepted by any airline, carrier, or security authority. Rules on lithium batteries in checked and carry-on baggage, and on baggage size and weight, are set by carriers and by aviation authorities and change without notice.

It is your sole responsibility to check and comply with the rules of your airline, carrier, and destination before travelling. STOVLA.COM shall not be liable for confiscated items, denied boarding, excess baggage fees, missed transport, or any other loss arising from carrier or regulatory decisions.

Compression of luggage reduces volume, not weight. Using our products does not affect any weight allowance applied by a carrier.

12.5 Assumption of Risk

BY PURCHASING AND/OR USING ANY PRODUCT FROM STOVLA.COM, YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE, HANDLING, STORAGE, CHARGING, AND DISPOSAL OF SUCH PRODUCT. This includes, without limitation, risks of personal injury, property damage, allergic reactions, skin irritation, electrical hazards, burns, fire, choking, suffocation, or any other harm that may arise from the use or misuse of the product, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.

You further acknowledge that compression and long-term vacuum storage may affect certain materials, and that STOVLA.COM is not responsible for creasing, compression marks, loss of loft or insulating performance, moisture retention, mildew, odor, or damage to garments, bedding, down, feather, wool, leather, delicate fabrics, or any other item stored in our products. Items should be clean and completely dry before storage.

You acknowledge that STOVLA.COM has no control over how products are used after delivery and cannot be held responsible for consequences arising from improper storage, handling, modification, or use in conditions or environments for which the product was not intended.

12.6 Waiver of Claims Related to Minors

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, the purchaser, parent, legal guardian, or any person who allows a minor access to a STOVLA.COM product hereby waives, releases, and forever discharges STOVLA.COM, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and partners from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, lawsuits, damages (including but not limited to compensatory, punitive, incidental, special, and consequential damages), costs, expenses, and liabilities of any kind or nature arising from or related to:

  • Any injury, suffocation, illness, or death of a minor resulting from access to, use of, handling of, or proximity to any STOVLA.COM product, its packaging, or its components;
  • Any damage to property caused by a minor's use or handling of any STOVLA.COM product;
  • Any misuse, improper use, or unintended use of any STOVLA.COM product by a minor;
  • Failure of the purchaser, parent, or guardian to store the product out of reach of children or to provide adequate supervision.

Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence. In such jurisdictions, the above waiver shall apply only to the extent permitted by law. This waiver does not purport to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in the buyer's jurisdiction.

12.7 Product Warnings & Instructions

Where applicable, STOVLA.COM provides product descriptions, usage guidelines, and safety warnings on product pages and in the packaging. The purchaser is responsible for reading and following all provided instructions and warnings before using or allowing others to use the product. Failure to follow product instructions or warnings releases STOVLA.COM from any liability for resulting harm.

12.8 Materials, Allergies & Sensitivities

Products sold by STOVLA.COM may contain plastics, adhesives, dyes, metals, or other substances that could cause allergic reactions, skin irritation, or adverse health effects in certain individuals. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to review all product materials and descriptions before purchase and use, and to consult with a medical professional if there is any doubt about potential reactions. STOVLA.COM shall not be held liable for any allergic reaction, skin irritation, respiratory issue, or other adverse health effect caused by any product.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, STOVLA.COM, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, death, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

  • The use or inability to use our products or services;
  • Any product defect, whether known or unknown at the time of sale;
  • Misuse, improper use, modification, or negligent use of any product;
  • Access to or use of products or packaging by minors without adequate adult supervision;
  • Improper charging, storage, or handling of rechargeable batteries;
  • Damage to garments, bedding, or other items stored in our products;
  • Decisions by airlines, carriers, customs, or security authorities;
  • Allergic reactions, health complications, or injuries caused by product materials;
  • Non-compliance with local safety regulations by the buyer.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities (such as the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, or other consumer-protection jurisdictions), the limitations above shall apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Maximum aggregate liability: In any event, STOVLA.COM's total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless STOVLA.COM, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and partners from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of any product or service; (c) your failure to keep products out of the reach of minors or to supervise their use; (d) your failure to comply with applicable laws, carrier rules, and safety regulations; or (e) any third-party claim arising from your use of STOVLA.COM products.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

16. Termination

These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the buyer's jurisdiction provide otherwise.

For EU/EEA consumers: Nothing in these Terms affects your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your Member State of domicile, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
